Fir Bark

Fir Bark is a porous material that retains moister and oxygen well. We mainly use fir bark in Nepenthes & Cephalotus soil but it can be used in most carnivorous plant soils.

Generally lasts for 2 - 3 years.

Somewhat hard to find in most locations. Not recommended to purchase from anyone but carnivorous plant growers/nurseries.

We offer all of the listed carnivorous plant soil parts, and various mixes thereof, by the quart and gallon. Click the "CP Soil" link above to go to the store.
You can learn about other carnivorous plant soils by clicking on their names above.

Which is highly recommended.
