Silica SandPackaged 1 quart by volume, roughly 3 1/2 lbs. Use for flytrap soil and sundew soil. Sand keeps the soil moisture levels high when pots are standing in water. Sand provides excellent drainage, drying out quickly when not standing in water.
Silica Sand is generally mixed with other medias at 30%. Do not breath Silica Sand dust!The more silica sand you use the faster the soil will dry out when not standing in water.
