D. pulex (water flea) Culture
D. pulex (water flea) Culture
D. pulex (large water flea) Culture

These get quit large as far as water fleas go (1/8" or so) and are more hardy than most. I like them because once the water fleas are grown they are to big for most aquatic carnivorous bladders to get ahold of. Dubia pulex can live several weeks producing young for the bladders to trap + water fleas eat algae. Water fleas do not make a good algae cure but do help with keeping it under control in the first place.
Water fleas are also very well suited for feeding fish. It's fun to watch fish chase after the water fleas. These are excellent for fish up to 3". We sell Dubia pulex in wet cultures that contain roughly 100 water fleas. Instructions on how to raise water fleas are also included. You can keep around 300 on hand in a 2 liter bottle.
Instructions include ways to feed, or you can purchase our dry feed to keep it simple.
