Cephalotus follicularis Soil - GALLON peat/med. perlite/charcoal/coconut husk The Cephalotus soil has excellent drainage but holds moisture for a long time. Allows lots of oxygen in to the roots. This aerates the roots aiding with heat dissipation. Roots grow better faster so the Cephalotus grows stronger. Good for long term growing, lasting 2 years or more. Allows for more water retention which means less watering, but at the same time less chance to over water. Cephalotus Soil should be top dressed with Long Fiber Sphagnum Moss to help w/humidity. Gallon Soil Bags will easily fill 8 - 4" round pots. Or 3 - 6" round pots when topped with LFSM. Cephalotus will also grow in the Basic Soil and LFSM
